Was back in the office one day a week starting in September. My boss doesn’t wear a mask or sanitize, then came in with a cold. I keep my mask on if I’m going anywhere but my office. Later that week I come down with a cold, and still sick now two weeks later. Been back to working from home since then. Why do people do that shit? My previous boss always came in sick and I ended. Boss and receptionist would always show up sick, and both would always end up spending a ton of time around people because they felt too unwell to actually do work but needed to do something to pass the time. I would always end up getting sick from them. Haven’t heard a peep from our boomer CEO about it even though cases are spiking. With winter roads to look forward to, it would be nice to work this winter from home. I think the winter roads definitely contributed to why I’m so pissed about this week. I just can’t wrap my head around why the risks are worth it when we just spent 6 months proving that WFH works. So I was fighting.
