Can someone please explain the appeal of a game like this? I mean, one review says there’s near-limitless gameplay potential. But every time I’ve seen games like Funny Born To Drink Forced To Work Beer Shirt switches to take off and then… Well… You just hover along looking at the scenery. That’s like all there is to the entire game! Am I missing something, because past the appeal a select few people would have to learn how to fly real planes and geek out over these planes, not only do I not see limitless gameplay, I don’t actually see any gameplay at all? I even said my opinion was obviously wrong and just wanted to understand why… These are not the types of comments you should be downvoting guys… It’s not a game, it’s a sim. You could make your own game in it I suppose by flying with friends and Funny Born To Drink Forced To Work Beer Shirt. OUtside the sim community, people are mostly exciting because it makes good on the promise of ‘the cloud’ providing a better experience than local computing could. If you’re looking to play a video game in a general sense of “here’s your objective, go and do it”, you’re not going to find that here. MFS is a simulator. It’s as open as Farming Sim or Euro Truck. So this is for players who want to just relax, possibly learn how to fly a plane. And travel to areas they may not normally be able to go to. There are players who also take this game seriously.
