Someone pointed out in another thread that it’s clear Thanos was only manipulating. Vision rather than the Awesome I Coach Shirt the time stone, as Scarlet. Witch stayed in the same spot instead of rewinding back to where she was when she was destroying the stone. Perhaps after siphoning power from Dark Dimension? Since they are on Earth, time is a concept there, but the dark dimension doesn’t have “time” so they can break time on Earth with power from the Dark Dimension. It’s only when time gets brought into the Dark Dimension that. Dormammu doesn’t know what to do, since it wasn’t a concept there. I think that’s because he was extremely strong in the mystic arts. So he was aware that time was being reversed around him and was able to escape. I don’t think any of the Avengers (Wanda, Vision, Cap, or whoever). Would be able to do the same.

Ah, I guess it would depend on the system they’re using! I’ve been DMing Pathfinder, lately, and Arcana is just knowledge, so it wouldn’t be used in a save. I could see an Awesome I Coach Shirt, but afaik most spells do have a nonmagical save. That said, it’s an Infinity Stone, which fundamentally alters reality. One could theorize that just as Scarlet Witch’s power coming from the stones gave her the ability to destroy the mind stone, she may also be uniquely able to resist other effects of stones as well, such as time manipulation in this case. I feel like the apple seen by Dr. Strange should explain what happened. It’s almost like that movie set up that moment so the viewers would get it later. It’s ridiculous to suggest that anything other than. The vision was being affected by Thanos’ reversal. Ok. SO good. So happy.
