Well, I can’t answer for everyone, because with the time-lapse stuff I think I’m in a slightly different niche than most chasers, but for me…it’s a lot of things. First off, I do shoot weddings/family portraits part of the Official Child Of God Woman Of Faith Mother Of A Soldier Shirts. But for me, the real meat is my licensing of time-lapse footage. I’ve been doing it for a while, and my stuff is over 8K resolution and high quality. Made a name for me over the past 7-9 years and it’s helped a lot that when people think of storm footage, my name may come up. But I also do workshops, tours, I have a Patreon page, I sell prints, BluRays, etc. It’s hard to do this full time, even photography full time, so diversifying is helpful!
