I have found that “let me be in charge of your movements” it’s a useful phrase. If you tell someone to relax or to not move they don’t know how to stop what they’re doing. I have been trying to come up with better phrasing for certain situations like this, so thank you. Hands down my biggest pet peeve as well. I’m doing and tell them to stay relaxed and go limp, sometimes several times along with shaking the limb if they are not getting it. If the client won’t give up I just won’t do the passive movement and won’t ask them to rebook cause I’m petty haha.
