I feel you man, I got a bill in the mail from a hospital bill that I paid 2 years ago. I specifically remember paying it. It, the hospital sent the bill to some collections agency and now I’m fucked… I don’t know what to do BUT I KNOW I PAID THE BILL CAUSE I WAS ALL PISSED OFF that I was so unlucky that it was 1 day before the new month.  If you have the same bank or card that you used to pay most go back 2.5-3 years of records. Paid I think $30 and got my transcript. Had to comb through it but found it and faxed a copy to the Dentist. Redact all of your account numbers first though just in case. A similar thing happened to me. When I got out of the military, I found out 6 months later that they had overpaid me and they were looking to get the money back.
