People keep telling me there’s a theory that in some patients. Mono/EB virus damages the thyroid and other surrounding structures and can lead to POTS. It’s nice to have my husband believe me for once. So instead of jumping on their blame train (like in the past) he just laughs to himself too. It on cardio may overextend the heart’s capabilities and be detrimental. I’m really not sure, I’ll have to ask my doctor. Unfortunately, POTS makes cardio exercise difficult, at least for me—heart rate gets dangerously high.

Vision goes wonky, breathing feels hard, profuse sweating makes dehydration worse. It’s really hard to recover from.
